We are thrilled to announce that Young Political Leadership School Africa (YPLS Africa) is set to welcome 100 outstanding young leaders from 10 African countries for its 12th Cohort!
This milestone follows a highly competitive selection process. We received an overwhelming 377 applications from passionate, visionary, and courageous young leaders across the continent. After a rigorous review and shortlisting process, 200 applicants were interviewed, and today, we proudly stand ready to welcome 100 changemakers who have made it through.
These selected participants represent the future of democratic governance, peacebuilding, and inclusive development in Africa. They bring with them diverse experiences, bold ideas, and a shared commitment to lead transformational change in their communities and countries.
YPLS Africa Cohort 12 will convene in Monrovia, Liberia. It will feature a rich learning experience designed to empower these leaders with the knowledge, tools, and networks needed to engage in politics, governance, and public service meaningfully
. From strategic political organizing to electoral systems, civic participation, policy advocacy, and more — the curriculum is grounded in African realities and youth-driven solutions.
